What changed from Isonzo's DLC model
If you owned Isonzo cosmetic DLC you bought large packs containing a uniform for every class, across two factions. Gallipoli splits that up: each pack now holds two uniforms for a single faction, and the items mix and match freely across classes within a subfaction — the one exception being Officer uniforms, which stay exclusive to the Officer class. BlackMill's stated reasoning is historical as much as commercial: supply lines on the Ottoman Fronts were unreliable, so soldiers made do with what they had rather than fighting in standardised kit.
The practical effect is that packs are cheaper and you can be more selective. The studio's stated purpose for selling them at all is to keep the base game at €30 while covering development costs, with gameplay content staying free.
Should you buy any of it?
Not on day one. Cosmetics change nothing about weight, ammo, perks or unlocks — the progression system already hands you every class, weapon and tool on first launch, and levelling adds free uniform options on top. Play a few dozen matches, settle on a faction and a couple of classes, then buy the pack for the subfaction you actually field. If you already know you want more than three packs from one season, the season bundle is the cheaper route.
